Labs

Physics Lab is well equipped with instruments of high precision and quality to meet the needs of all types of measurement needed in different branches of engineering. This laboratory play vital role in building strong foundation to understand their core engineering subjects more comfortably. Laboratory experiments have been set up keeping consistency with the theory so that the students can understand the applications of the laws and principles of physics. Physics lab is associated with Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information & Technology Engineering.
Laboratory In-charge:
  • Dr. Vipul G. Shrimali  (Lecturer in Physics)
  • Mr. Dinesh K. Chudasama  (Lecturer in Physics)
Laboratory Assistant:
  • JITENDRA R. META
Laboratory Peon:
  • Pravin V. Lashkari

Chemistry laboratory is equipped with various glass-wares, required chemicals and necessary devices such as Redwood viscometer, Ostwald viscometer, digital pH meter, digital electronic balance, melting point electronic device, desiccators, pestle-mortar, etc. Also First Aid Kit, Gas Cylinder, Fire Extinguisher, Exhaust device in the ceiling, Notice board, White board, Black roller boards, etc. is there in the Chemistry Laboratory.

Various useful signages related to First Aid Kit, Emergency contact numbers for Gas cylinder, How to use Fire Extinguisher in Emergency?, General Instructions, Special Instructions, Don’t & Do’s, Exit arrows, All Emergency Contact Numbers’ List, Different Informative and Useful Charts, Tables, Covid-19 SOP related Instructions-Charts, a chart related to competency & NBA, COs (Course Outcomes) and PrOs (Practical Outcomes) of different chemistry Courses etc. are displayed in the Chemistry Laboratory to make the students aware and well acquainted.

From the basic knowledge about chemistry laboratory and the laboratory practical experiences for the relevant courses like Basic Chemistry, Engineering Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, the students will be able to attain PrOs (Practical Outcomes) & thereby to attain  COs (Course Outcomes) also. Competencies developed by these courses would therefore be useful for students to attain relevant POs (Programme Outcomes) and thereby will be useful to him/her to perform the job in solving problems in the field of Engineering, Industries and in day-today life relevant to Chemistry.

Laboratory In-charge:

  • DARSHIT B. CHHAG  (Lecturer in Chemistry)
  • PRASHANT C. KATHAROTIYA  (Lecturer in Chemistry)

Laboratory Assistant:

  • JITENDRA R. META

Laboratory Peon:

  • Pravin V. Lashkari
The language lab offers an exclusive result oriented and efficient way to enrich the English language learning process. It is a space for skill learning where students access audio or audio-visual materials. Language labs allow students to reinforce material learned in class by putting them into practice through interactive activities. It gives freedom to students to learn at their own pace and helps to build self-confidence.

To facilitate our students for improving their communication skills in English, we have set up a language laboratory that is accessible for all. The first semester students are oriented for the usage of Language Laboratory and also guided for creating a virtual lab in their own smart phones that can be accessed on daily basis. They are informed regarding the software available on net, given a first-hand experience under the supervision of language faculty.

Features:
  • Skill based learning
  • Listening practices
  • Audio & video lessons (for beginners)
  • Vocabulary practices (synonyms/antonyms)
  • Confusing word exercise (homophones/homonyms)
  • Skill checking tests (Grammar/Listening)
  • Grammar explanations along with practice
Software Used:
  • Software - EWL (English Language Lab)  By Bureau for Health and Education Status Upliftment,  Jaipur.
