Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Electricity has become a vital form of energy in our day-to-day life. All of us are aware about its importance in various applications. We are offering Diploma level course in Electrical Engineering,

The Department of Electrical engineering of this institute has been the most focused department, carrying out various activities like training and placement, building electrical maintenance etc. The department started in the year 1966 with the intake capacity of 60 students and now at this juncture the intake capacity has been increased to 240. Present revised intake is 90 from 2020-21.

In order to strengthen the practical know-how for the theoretical background studied by the students, we are equipped with the state of the art laboratories. The department has its own Machine, Electronics and Power laboratories. Looking to the present scenario and the scope for the job opportunities the trend of this department has always been heartening and appears to be stable with the strong signals of Kaizen.

VISION:
